Windows Azure Active Directory Premium offering plus BizTalk Services 2013, Traffic Manager general availability and Mobile Services updates

Starting today, Windows Azure Active Directory Premium is in public preview. In addition, BizTalk Services 2013, Windows Azure Traffic Manager, and application access enhancements for Windows Azure Active Directory are generally available. There are also several important Mobile Services updates.
Updates on Windows Azure Active Directory 

Windows Azure Active Directory Premium offering is now available for customer preview. Built on top of the free tier of Windows Azure AD, Premium provides advanced capabilities to empower enterprises with more demanding needs on identity and access management. 

Windows Azure Active Directory Premium will be free during the first period of the preview. Sign up for Windows Azure Active Directory Premium public preview today. Send us any questions and feedback you have regarding this public preview. 

Application access enhancements, a part of the free Windows Azure Active Directory (AD) offering have reached general availability (GA). These enhancements enable you to easily provide single sign on and manage user access to hundreds of cloud SaaS applications like Office 365, Box, GoToMeeting, DropBox, Salesforce.com and more. 

If you are already using those application access enhancements in preview, you do not have to take any action. You will automatically be transitioned to the GA service.

Announcing BizTalk Services 2013 general availability 

BizTalk Services 2013 is a cloud Integration technology that enables powerful business scenarios such as supply chain, cloud-based EDI, enterprise application integration, and the development of trustworthy, high-performance, high-resiliency hybrid applications. Today we are announcing new pricing for this service. Preview pricing will remain in effect until December 31, 2013. Starting January 1, 2014, the following pricing will apply:

Today, we’re also announcing the general availability of the Windows Azure Traffic Manager. Traffic Manager now carries aservice level agreement of 99.99 percent availability and is supported through your existing Azure support plan. We’re also announcing new pricing for this service. Free promotional pricing will remain in effect until December 31, 2013. Starting January 1, 2014, the following pricing will apply:

Important Mobile Services Updates 

Windows Azure Mobile Services enables you to accelerate your mobile app development by providing a fast and easy way to store data, authenticate users, and send push notifications. Today, we’ve released several important updates to Mobile Services, including:

      Optimistic concurrency in structured data to detect and resolve scenarios where two or more users are concurrently updating the same data row
      Xamarin quickstart projects available in the Windows Azure portal
