WatchGuard is pleased to announce new secure connectivity options for mobile workers with the recent release of a new Mobile VPN with IPSec client for Windows Mobile 5/6-based devices. In addition to the Windows Mobile client, WatchGuard has also released a new Mobile VPN client version for Windows 32- and 64-bit computers. These new clients are fully compatible with Firebox appliances running all versions of Fireware and Firebox X Edge appliance software, as well as recent versions of WFS appliance software.
WatchGuard Mobile VPN Client with IPSec v10.04.12 fixes several defects found in previous releases, and adds support for Windows XP 64-bit operating systems. WatchGuard Mobile VPN Client with IPSec v10.35.36 is the first IPSec VPN client from WatchGuard that can run on Windows Mobile devices. Currently supported devices include the following:
- Symbol MC70 (Windows Mobile 5 premium phone)
- T-Mobile Dash (Windows Mobile 6 smart phone)
- Samsung Blackjack (Windows Mobile 5 smart phone)
