Edge 8.6 provides broadened security, greater interoperability and flexibility and wider network visibility. Several enhancements and bug fixes were also implemented (see the release notes for details). We strongly recommend that all customers download and install this release to upgrade their Edge e-Series appliance.

Does this release pertain to me?
The Firebox X Edge e-Series 8.6 software will only work with Firebox X Edge e-Series models. It will not operate (and cannot be installed) on other Firebox X Edge models, SOHO 6, S6, or SOHO models.
