Program Duration
This program offering expires on October 13, 2007. All upgrade requests must be submitted no later than midnight CST, October 13, 2007.
How to Participate Step 1: Locate and validate your Service Tag
To begin the upgrade process you will need your system’s Service Tag. The Service Tag is a unique 7 digit, alpha-numeric code that identifies your system to Dell. The Service Tag will also be used to determine if you qualify for the XPS Motherboard Exchange Program.
The Service Tag can be found in two locations (both illustrated below).
- Inside the 3.5” Media Bay – Customers can find their Service Tag behind the 3.5” media bay door. This label includes Dell web address, the Service Tag, the Express Service Code and date of manufacture.
- On the back of the PC – The second location where the Service Tag can be found is on the back of the PC on a white bar-coded label.
